L2 Fun in the Sun

Learning Objectives:

•  Apply the target sentence structures: Q: What should we bring to the beach? A: We should bring [umbrella/water/sunscreen]. Q: What should we wear to the beach? A: We should wear [hat/sunglasses/swimsuit]. Q: Tell me about your day at the pool.

Learning Procedure:

1. 5 mins - Greeting

- Welcome the students and set a positive tone for the day.

2. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 1

- Practice constructing sentences using target sentence structure.

3. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 2

- Engage in pair or group activities where students practice using target sentence structure.

4. 5 mins - Goodbye / Closing

- Recap the speaking activities, encourage practice, and say goodbye.
