Learning Objectives

• Apply the target sentence structures: 1. "How many people are there in your family?"
Expected answer: "There are [number] people in my family."
2. "Do you live with your grandpa/grandma?"
Expected answer: "Yes, I live with my grandpa/grandma." or "No, my grandpa/grandma lives in [place]."
3. "What does your grandpa/grandma look like?"
Expected answer: "My grandpa/grandma has [white hair/glasses/etc.]."
4. Picture Description: "Look at the picture. This is John and this is his grandpa. Where are John and his grandpa going?"
Expected answer: "They are going to the park/shop/zoo."

1. 5 mins - Greeting

- Welcome the students and set a positive tone for the day.

2. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 1

- Practice constructing sentences using target sentence structure.

3. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 2

- Engage in pair or group activities where students practice using target sentence structure.

4. 5 mins - Goodbye / Closing

- Recap the speaking activities, encourage practice, and say goodbye.
