L1 Farm Animals

Learning Objectives:

•  Apply the target sentence structures: Q: What sound does a [pig/sheep/goat] make? A: A [pig/sheep/goat] makes [oink/baa/meh] sounds. Q: Which farm animal do you see? A: I see a [pig/sheep/goat]. Q: Tell me about your favourite farm animal.

Learning Procedure:

1. 5 mins - Greeting

- Welcome the students and set a positive tone for the day.

2. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 1

- Practice constructing sentences using target sentence structure.

3. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 2

- Engage in pair or group activities where students practice using target sentence structure.

4. 5 mins - Goodbye / Closing

- Recap the speaking activities, encourage practice, and say goodbye.
