L2 Birds on the Farm

Learning Objectives:

•  Apply the target sentence structures: Q: What colour is the [rooster/hen/duck]? A: The [rooster/hen/duck] is [colour]. Q: Where do farm birds live? A: They live in the [coop/barn/farm]. A: Can you share with me what farm birds eat?

Learning Procedure:

1. 5 mins - Greeting

- Welcome the students and set a positive tone for the day.

2. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 1

- Practice constructing sentences using target sentence structure.

3. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 2

- Engage in pair or group activities where students practice using target sentence structure.

4. 5 mins - Goodbye / Closing

- Recap the speaking activities, encourage practice, and say goodbye.
