L1 Spring Weather

Learning Objectives:

•  Apply the target sentence structures:

• Q: What season is it?
  A: It is spring. Spring comes after winter and before summer.
  Q: What do we do in spring?
  A: In spring, we plant flowers, fly kites, and go for walks in the park.
  Q: How is the weather in spring?
  A: The weather in spring is usually warm and wet. We often have spring showers.
  Q: What do we wear in spring?
  A: In spring, we wear light jackets, t-shirts, and sometimes rain boots for the showers.

Learning Procedure:

1. 5 mins - Greeting

- Welcome the students and set a positive tone for the day.

2. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 1

- Practice constructing sentences using target sentence structure.

3. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 2

- Engage in pair or group activities where students practice using target sentence structure.

4. 5 mins - Goodbye / Closing

- Recap the speaking activities, encourage practice, and say goodbye.
