L2 Summer Weather

Learning Objectives:

• Q: What season is it?
  A: It is summer. Summer comes after spring and before autumn.
  Q: What do we do in summer?
  A: In summer, we go to the beach, have picnics, and play outdoor sports.
  Q: How is the weather in summer?
  A: The weather in summer is hot and sometimes we have typhoons, rainstorms, or thunderstorms.
  Q: What do we wear in summer?
  A: In summer, we wear shorts, t-shirts, sandals, and sunhats to stay cool.

Learning Procedure:

1. 5 mins - Greeting

- Welcome the students and set a positive tone for the day.

2. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 1

- Practice constructing sentences using target sentence structure.

3. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 2

- Engage in pair or group activities where students practice using target sentence structure.

4. 5 mins - Goodbye / Closing

- Recap the speaking activities, encourage practice, and say goodbye.
