Learning Objectives:

•  Apply the target sentence structures: 1. "What do we eat during Chinese New Year?"
  Expected answer: "We eat [dumplings/tangerines]."
  "We have a big family dinner."
  2. Picture sequence: "What do we do on New Year Day?"
  Expected answer frames:
  What: "We [visit relatives/give red packets/eat special food]."
  Where: "We go to [grandmother's house/relative's home/temple]."
  Who: "We visit with [my family/parents/siblings]."
  When: "We visit in the [morning/afternoon]."

Learning Procedure:

1. 5 mins - Greeting

- Welcome the students and set a positive tone for the day.

2. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 1

- Practice constructing sentences using target sentence structure.

3. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 2

- Engage in pair or group activities where students practice using target sentence structure.

4. 5 mins - Goodbye / Closing

- Recap the speaking activities, encourage practice, and say goodbye.
