Learning Objectives:

•  Apply the target sentence structures: Describe the mountain region
  What activities can you do in the mountains?
  What kind of animals live in the mountains?
  What types of plants can you find in the mountains?
  How is the weather in the mountains? Is it usually cold or hot?
  What are some things you might see when you hike in the mountains?

Learning Procedure:

1. 5 mins - Greeting

- Welcome the students and set a positive tone for the day.

2. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 1

- Practice constructing sentences using target sentence structure.

3. 10 mins - Speaking Activity 2

- Engage in pair or group activities where students practice using target sentence structure.

4. 5 mins - Goodbye / Closing

- Recap the speaking activities, encourage practice, and say goodbye.
