LESSON PROCEDURES:

1)  Begin Warm-Up (3 minutes)

  • Lead gentle stretches with toy-inspired motions (roll arms like a ball, sway like a teddy).
  • Introduce the idea: “Today we will play with toys and learn how to share them.”
  • Invite children to copy 2 toy-inspired movements.

2) Present Sharing Opportunities (5 minutes)

  • Display two identical toy props (e.g., two balls, two dolls).
  • Model a simple sharing moment: offering, holding together, or showing a toy.
  • Invite children to notice when a toy can be shared with a friend.

3) Demonstrate Toy Handling Care (6 minutes)

  • Show careful ways to hold, pass, and place toys (gentle grip, slow handover).
  • Narrate with clear language: “I hold the teddy gently. I pass it slowly.”
  • Invite children to practice careful handling with a partner.

4) Guide Toy Exchange Scenarios (8 minutes)

  • Pair children with one or two toys.
  • Prompt them to suggest to each other what to play:
    • “Let’s roll the ball together.”
    • “Let’s stack the blocks side by side.”
    • “Let’s rock the doll and sing.”
  • Encourage joint play after the suggestion.
  • Invite children to take turns suggesting and then playing together.

5) Facilitate Partner Performance (6 minutes)

  • Offer choice of toy roles in pairs.
  • Cue actions with drum or clapper.
  • Invite children to perform a mini scene together: one suggests, both play, then finish with a shared gesture (wave, clap, smile).

    •

6) Lead Cool-Down and Reflection (2 minutes)

  • Guide calming breaths with toy imagery: “Blow like a car horn… sigh like a teddy.”
  • Ask reflection prompts: “What did you suggest to your friend?” “How did you play together?”
  • Invite children to share their favourite sharing moment.

ASSESSMENT

  • Observe recognition of sharing opportunities.
  • Check careful handling of toys during exchanges.
  • Assess participation in toy exchanges through suggestions and joint play.

REMARKS

  • Encourage more two-person interactions on stage to build collaboration.
  • Adapt actions for seated or simplified versions.
  • Use freeze signal consistently; narrate positive examples (“I see gentle sharing!”).
  • Pair toy names with visuals and repeated phrases.
  • Differentiate:
    • Emerging learners: suggest one simple play idea.
    • Advanced learners: create longer joint play scenarios with partner gestures.
  • Pre-cue transitions (“Ready to share in 3-2-1”).
  • Arrange floor spots and zones for safe movement.
