5 mins - Plant Identification

  1. Present target vocabulary:
    • Indicate plant → "Plant"
    • Touch leaf → "Leaf"
    • Demonstrate colour → "Green"
  2. Facilitate choral repetition
  3. Conduct "Touch & Say" activity:
    • Teacher: "Touch plant"
    • Pupils respond physically
  4. Utilise flashcards for reinforcement

7 mins - Watering Practice

  1. Present target language: "Water plant"
  2. Demonstrate watering movement
  3. Distribute watering cans
  4. Support individual practice:
