Tiny Tales Lesson Plan
Lesson 3 The Hungry Caterpillar and the Butterfly
## Course Information
The Tiny Tales course encourages toddlers to learn English through immersive story-based experiences. It nurtures language acquisition, cognitive development, and a passion for narratives by involving students in interactive tales and related activities.
**Age:** 2-6 years old
**Class Size:** 3 children
**Class Duration:** 1 hour
## General Reminder for Teachers:
1. As this project involves both wet and dry mediums, ensure a balance in activity pacing to allow for drying times.
2. Encourage creativity and individual expression in the artwork.
3. Provide assistance with cutting and handling paint, especially for younger students, to ensure safety and cleanliness.
4. Celebrate each child’s effort and unique creation to boost confidence and enjoyment in learning.
5. Document the activity with photos for classroom display and parent communication, capturing both group dynamics and individual contributions. Take 2 group photos and at least 2 individual photos for each child.
6. Distribute last lesson notes to parents by hand and use this opportunity to engage with parents, discussing their child's progress and experiences.
7. Performing demonstrations while explaining activities is critical to ensure that students understand the techniques and expectations clearly.
