Course Overview:
This comprehensive course is designed to prepare young ESL learners for the Trinity Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) Grade 1. The course is structured to cover all necessary language skills. It focuses on helping students understand and use basic English phrases and sentences to express their thoughts and needs.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
- Introduce themselves and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details.
- Interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
- Speak English with an acceptable level of pronunciation and intonation.
- Pass a mock Trinity GESE Grade 1 examination
